Kidrak is a beach in Turkey near Oludeniz. It is located between the main beach of Oludeniz – Belcekiz – and the beach of Liberty Hotels Lykia. Kidrak Beach is also known as Paradise Beach. Why is this beach called a paradise? Because it’s located on the protected Oludeniz Kidrak Tabiat Park territory. Admission the beach is paid. Until recently the beach was wild, and one could hide there from tourist crowds of Belcekiz beach. Kidrak is a very picturesque beach. It is about 1 kilometer long and is surrounded by pine trees. At Kidrak Beach, there’s a parking lot on. Next to it, under pine trees, there’re barbecues for cooking meat and vegetables. Sounds tempting, doesn’t it?
Kidrak beach is quite popular among tourists and locals. However, this is because admission to it is paid, and there are few tourists on the beach. Until recently, the beach used to be absolutely wild, with no sunbeds, cafes, and amenities for tourists. But as you can see, everything changed quickly. Now, on the beach there are sunbeds that you can rent for the whole day and even a small cafe. Here, you can also play volleyball and even land a paraglider. Yes, that’s right – not all paragliders land on Belcekiz beach. On Kidrak you can also see happy tourists landing after an amazing flight.
You may find the water on Kidrak Beach a little cooler than on neighboring beaches – for a reason. On this beach, under the water, there are a few places with cold water springs. And it is they that make the water a little cooler here than on other Turkish beaches. As for the rest, there are also waves here from time to time. And of course, the water color here is the same as on other beaches near Oludeniz – azure. Kidrak beach is mostly covered by sand with small pebbles. However, you’d better still wear beach shoes. This beach can be called calm and tranquil thanks to just few tourists relaxing here.

Our visit to Kidrak Beach
We arrived at Kidrak Beach in the afternoon at about 16 o’clock. For the entrance, we paid 6 liras per person and parked our car at the parking lot. We didn’t rent sunbeds, as it was 16 o’clock already. The sun wasn’t as hot as in the afternoon, and we could enjoy a pleasant sun and great warm water.
Paragliders landed on the beach one after another. And seeing their happy faces, my ambition to fly a paraglider grew stronger. On that day, waves were quite high. So, we bathed close to the beach. I really love the waves and I really enjoyed them. But this place is definitely unsuitable for small children.
We had a great time, enjoying a little privacy. In the far end of the beach, everything was ready for a wedding celebration. We watched the newlyweds’ beach ceremony with interest. I think Kidrak Beach is a perfect place if you want to hold a beach wedding ceremony. You’ll surely get beautiful photos and a pleasant atmosphere!
As for the rest, Kidrak beach is very similar to the municipal beach of Oludeniz. The clear sea is of the same beautiful turquoise color here. Swimming here is a sheer pleasure!
